The Casing scraper is ideal tool for the removal of dirties which may be left inside wall of casing, such as solid cement, hard wax, various salt crystals or deposits and rusting to ensure that all downhole tools pass through unblocked. The use of the casing scraper can increase and complete the success rate.At present scrapping inside wall of casing with scraper has become necessary in many leading oilfields of China.
Construction
According to its structure, it can be divided into rubber barrel type and spring type. The spring casing scraper consists of shell, cutting board, cutting board seat, fixed block, spiral spring, inner hexagon screw and so on. The shell with a waterhole from top to bottom bears all the parts. Its thread within the upper end and lower end connect with drill pipe and drill bit, the six big square grooves will be selected in the large part of the diameter, each of them will be produced into dovetail groove and little square grooves with which the cutting board, cutting board seat, fixed block will be equipped.
